Alton is now offering nationwide installation for their greenhouses by qualified Alton erectors.
To qualify for this you must provide a solid base either by laying a level concrete or slab base, providing a concrete foundation or having your greenhouse erected onto an existing SOLID, FLAT, LEVEL area.
The brick walls for the Traditional Dwarf Wall models must be constructed by the customer to Alton specifications, Alton cannot provide greenhouses to go onto existing brickwork.
Once a greenhouse has been purchased Alton will send you a base layout specially designed for the size of greenhouse you have purchased, so you can give this to your ground-works company to construct either a brick wall or suitable concrete base.

Automatic openers can be used to provide ventilation while you are away - just to set and forget. These units automatically open and close in response to climatic conditions.

The louvre vents are available with manual or automatic openers. Extra side ventilation can be provided by fitting Louvre vents at staging height.
When used in conjunction with roof vents and Ventaccess panels, healthy air will be able to circulate to all levels of your greenhouse.
Increased roof ventilation can be provided for most models by ordering additional roof vents at the same time as you order your greenhouse.

To eradicate the need for more than one barrel or outlet, a traverse pipe is placed along the rear of the greenhouse terminating into a T junction which connects both gutters to one outlet. This in turn allows the water to be carried from both gutters into a single point such as a barrel or grid.
